We offer psychological and neuropsychological assessments as a stand-alone service or in preparation for individual and/or group therapy. Medical rehabilitation assessments are available upon request from a medical doctor, lawyer, assessment center and/or rehabilitation center or insurance company. Self-referrals are also accepted.
Individual therapy is based on a foundation of therapeutic presence. The therapist is fully present and attuned with the client, creating a safe and supportive therapeutic relationship. Integration of various approaches is common including Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Mindfulness Based Therapy, Dialectical Behvioural Therapy and EMDR. Individual psychotherapy is a resource for individuals coping with issues such as depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, trauma, grief and loss, separation and divorce, sexuality issues, chronic physical pain, insomnia and other challenges. Psychotherapy is also helpful for people striving for personal growth, enhanced spirituality and greater self-understanding.
