Dr. Taryn Atlin obtained her Master’s degree from the University of Toronto, her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Ryerson University and then completed her APA accredited Pre-doctoral Internship at McLean Hospital/Harvard Medical School in Massachusetts. She has also trained at hospitals in Toronto including the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) and St. Michael’s Hospital.
Taryn’s approach is collaborative with a focus on understanding each client’s unique symptom presentation and treatment goals. She works with both adolescents and adults using evidence-based treatments including Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT). Taryn is passionate about the research and treatment of insomnia and has worked extensively with people struggling with sleep difficulties. She is trained in CBT for Insomnia (CBT-I). Taryn also specializes in the treatment of emotion dysregulation, anxiety and mood disorders.
