Amanda Young obtained her Masters in Social Work from the University of Toronto and in her clinical practice she works with adolescents, adults, couples and families. She completed a Fellowship at the Hincks-Dellcrest Centre where she pursued extensive training in family therapy and psychotherapy with adolescents. Amanda also works with families supporting a loved one who suffers from a mental illness. Amanda trained at Women’s College Hospital and the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health and has completed advanced training in Emotion Focussed Therapy and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy. Amanda practices mindfulness meditation and often incorporates mindfulness into her work with clients.
