Bev Fredborg is currently completing her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at Ryerson University and is supervised by Drs. Shari Geller and Shelley McMain. She has completed previous training at the Psychology Training Clinic at St. Michael’s Hospital, McMaster University’s Student Wellness Centre, and at the Borderline Personality Disorder Clinic at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health. She works with individuals by integrating Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy approaches. She provides a warm, non-judgmental, and sometimes humorous therapeutic environment that emphasizes the understanding of painful emotional experiences to collaboratively create change. Bev has a special interest in working with clients who struggle with life transitions, grief/loss, shame, and trauma experiences.
