Iris Sijercic is completing her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at Ryerson University and is under the supervised practice of Drs. Shari Geller and Shelley McMain. Iris received prior training at St. Michael’s Hospital, the Anxiety Treatment and Research Centre at St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton, the Women’s Inpatient Unit at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health and through repeated clinical trials at Ryerson University. Iris strives to work collaboratively with clients and her practice is grounded in cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT). She draws on their capacity for growth to help them gain greater self-understanding and meet their goals. Through a trauma-informed framework, Iris works with a variety of presenting concerns including posttraumatic stress, anxiety, depression, disordered eating, and interpersonal difficulties.
