Katherine Gardhouse received her Ph.D. in Psychological Clinical Science at the University of Toronto. She conducts research investigating holistic and integrated mechanisms in mental health. She has completed her pre-doctoral residency at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health with a focus on emotion regulation and trauma. Katherine has experience in psychological assessment and treatment of eating disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, depression, and borderline personality disorder. Her training and practice consists of evidence-based approaches including dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), and emotion focused therapy (EFT). Katherine works collaboratively with clients in a secure and non-judgmental environment to promote well-being, health, and meaning in life.
