Nicole Notarfonzo is registered as a Clinical Psychologist with the College of Psychologists of Ontario. She completed her Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from the University of Alberta. Nicole integrates numerous approaches into her work in order to tailor therapy to the unique needs of each individual. This includes Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness Meditation. Nicole has also completed post graduate training in Couples and Family therapy and is in the midst of completing her certification in Emotion Focused Family Therapy (EFFT). Nicole has over a decade of experience facilitating groups, as well as providing assessment and psychotherapy services to children, adolescents and adults struggling with a variety of challenges including depression, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, and interpersonal challenges. Her aim within therapy is to help clients develop greater self-awareness and to learn how to better manage distressing symptoms so that they are able to cultivate fulfilling relationships and ultimately live a life congruent with their values and goals.
