Zoe Cohen is a registered clinical social worker and Linehan-Board Certified DBT clinician. She holds a Masters Degree in Clinical Social Work from Columbia University in New York where she received extensive DBT training.
Zoe has worked in residential, hospital and outpatient settings as a therapist in the USA and Canada. She worked at Clearview Treatment Programs in Los Angeles in an outpatient program and conducted individual and group therapy and facilitated psychoeducation groups for families. Currently, Zoe works at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) in the Borderline Personality Disorder Clinic.
Zoe brings a warm, collaborative and non-judgmental approach to therapy and believes in enhancing individual strengths to help her clients reach their goals. She specializes in Dialectical Behavior Therapy and works with adults and couples seeking support for mood disorders, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, personality disorders, substance abuse, and trauma. She also has experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC), Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT).
