Ashima Gupta is a Psychological Associate registered with the College of Psychologists Ontario, currently practicing under supervision of Dr. Lorraine Patterson and Dr. Shari Geller. She earned her M.Phil degree in Clinical Psychology from Manipal Academy of Higher Education in Karnataka, India. Ashima possesses extensive training in a diverse range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Mentalization-Based Treatment (MBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive-Behavior Therapy (CBT), Existential Therapy, Client-Centered Therapy, and has a grounding in Psychodynamic principles. Her professional experience spans working with individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, addictions, trauma, abuse and personality disorders.
With a multicultural background, Ashima deeply values and respects the various cultural perspectives that her clients bring to their mental health challenges. She offers a safe and non-judgmental environment forging deep and meaningful connection with her clients.
