All therapies are based in mindfulness and emotion-focused principles with specialization in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Compassion-based treatments. We’re attentive to our clients’ comfort and needs within a safe and supportive therapeutic relationship.

Individual Therapy for Adults

Individual Therapy for Adults

We prioritize a genuine, caring, and empathic therapeutic relationship, essential for effective psychotherapy. Our approaches involve collaborative work, addressing a range of mental health issues, traumas, relationship challenges, and life stressors. Individual therapy starts with a personalized assessment leading to a treatment plan created in partnership with you.

Individual Therapy for Adolescents

We build on individual strengths and often involve family collaboration, especially with younger teenagers. Art therapy is also offered for young people to creatively express emotions, enhancing emotional well-being and coping skills. Therapy for teenagers balances independence and support. Our work fosters resilience, coping skills, and healthy growth in a nurturing environment.

Relationship Therapy

Relationship/Couple Therapy

We offer EFT-C (Emotion Focused Therapy for Couples) and Gottman Couples Therapy as well as DBT Parent Coaching. We specialize in helping clients recognize and transform detrimental interaction patterns within their relationships, leading to deeper emotional connections. Through the development of mutual empathy, people can skillfully navigate conflicts, heal emotional wounds, and nurture lasting and fulfilling relationships.

Family Therapy

We help address the characteristic patterns or behavioral themes that make the resolution of conflicts difficult. We teach skills that break negative emotional patterns amongst family members and create solutions that restructure problematic interactions, improve communication and strengthen relationships.

We offer standalone psychological assessments for self-referrals and referrals from physicians, lawyers, assessment centers, rehabilitation centers, and insurance companies. Our assessments use a range of techniques to diagnose behavior, personality, and capabilities. The process involves a review of previous treatment, interviews, psychological testing, and a final results-sharing meeting. There is an option to request a written assessment report.
