Dr. Nicole Dignard completed her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at the University of Windsor and completed her pre-doctoral residency at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health with a focus on emotion regulation and trauma. Nicole has experience in psychological assessment and treatment of eating disorders, borderline personality disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, and anxiety disorders. She has a longstanding interest in embodiment, positive body image, and eating disorders and strives to create an environment in which all bodies can feel accepted. Her training and clinical practice consist of a variety of approaches including dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), emotion focused therapy (EFT), cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), and psychodynamic psychotherapy. She loves working with emotions and believes that wellness is more than the absence of symptoms and works with clients in warm, non-judgemental space, to help them to identify and work toward their goals for a life worth living.
