Project Description

Ariel Lewis received his Master of Social Work with a specialization in mental health from the University of Toronto. He is registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers (OCSWSSW). Ariel has worked with adults in the Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) Clinic at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health where he received extensive training in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy. He has provided individual, group, and family therapy to adolescents while working as a therapist on a DBT team within a community setting. 

Ariel specializes in working with clients challenged with anxiety, mood disorders, post-traumatic stress, suicidality, self-harming behaviour, emotion dysregulation, Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), substance abuse, disordered eating, and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). He has received additional training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA).

Ariel pursues a genuine, caring, and respectful professional relationship. He combines evidence-based practice with an empathic, collaborative and non-judgmental approach.
