Project Description

Shirley Hung is a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. She received her Masters of Social Work from the University of Toronto and has completed advanced training in Emotion-Focused Couple Therapy (EFT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT). She is skilled at helping couples reconnect and build a secure bond as well as empowering individuals to develop increased self-awareness and self-compassion. Using a strength-based approach, Shirley aims to provide a safe and compassionate environment for her clients.

Prior to joining CMBH, Shirley worked in various counselling positions at St. Michael’s Hospital, Hospital for Sick Children, University of Toronto and York University. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, travelling and learning French and Spanish.
